Emergency fodder in bush fire response still available at Walcha

The emergency fodder distribution point for bush fire affected landholders is located at the Walcha Racecourse and is open from 8:00 am – 4.30 pm.

It has been open for the past week and has distributed more than 240 tonnes of hay to provide some breathing space while fire affected producers source feed for their stock.

We will be winding back the supply of emergency fodder at the Walcha Racecourse very soon as demand has decreased in the last couple of days.

If you or someone you know has livestock that have been left without feed or water as a result of bush fires, please call the Agriculture and Animal Services Hotline on 1800 814 647 now to register for assistance.

We are here to help and will remain on hand for the recovery to help our communities and producers with the difficult times ahead.
